A new kind of class.

On her arrival back to Vana’diel, Nelle had a wonderful present waiting for her. A new item for her Mog House, the Harpsichord. Its so lovely, it makes my Mog House feel more classy, its awesome. I didn’t get a chance to have a proper run around on game since I hopped on when I finished work, but I managed to check my marbles (loser!) and grab my present. I hope to spend mor eon the game in the coming few days, I really want to hear the Harpsichord playing and I want to farm up some gil so I can level my Bard!

I did get all my Mithra love back, and I will log on and level her up! I will I will I will! I’ll drag Rinion on by his ears and make him come group with me!

Qufim adventures.

I saw something today I haven’t actually seen before. Qufim Island light weather. It was really pretty, I was transfixed until one of those Goblin Robo-cop things decided to look my way. I managed to get loads of screenshots though, before I was hunted down.

Not a long entry today; its a raid weekend on thatothergameweplay/warcraft, but expect some small updates over the weekend and we’ll get back on the leveling track next week.

Oh, and a small bit of news - we unlocked Beastmaster. Another fun job for us to duo, methinks! The quest is much harder at 30 now than it ever was. In my opinion anyway. Not only do you have to contend with the Kraken, you have to contend with those awful little anti-fishbot/anti-player Goblins. VT-T-IT things. They hate me. Trying to complete the silly quest took 2 nights, and a level 45 RDM from our LS who came out to help us. I still died 3 times! Those Goblins homed in on me. No fair - I have a Goblin plush, I love the little guys.

Dragon slayers.

We got bored of being Rank 2. So, we went to go play with the Dragon. Noone else was on at the time unfortunately, so we went in there and decided to have a little fun - we came out with something to smile about. It might not be a big thing, but it gave us confidence!

We did the 2-3 Dragon as BRD and NIN 25. And it was great fun. I kept the Dragon asleep while Rinion kept at Searcher, and when we both got onto the Dragon I slept it while he recast shadows if it knocked him around a little too hard. Doesn’t sound too exciting, but we had loads of fun doing it.

Our first BCNM is out of the way. It felt good to get it done, and even better that we actually did it between us!

Too fast for the naked eye.

First things first.

My belated (Congratulations!) message got double barreled. Congratulations Etain! I’ve read Etain’s blog on and off for a long time. Ever since it had a cute little rainbow background on LJ I think. I recently found it again just before we restarted so its something I’ve read every time she’s updated. No one deserves this piece more than her~!

Secondly, never say that Moogle’s don’t do what you want them to do under pressure.

Yeah, its a poopy belt but its something from the event and its something for my level one jobs to have. And its kind of cute. In a bronze, belty sort of way. I’m sure the Moogle heard me threatening to make a voodoo doll of him. Thank you, Moogle!

And third.

Have I already mentioned I have the best boyfriend in the world. Now, even more so. I’m working nights tonight, so we got to party up until around 8pm GMT. We got from 19-25 which is amazing, and I had so much fun doing it! Anyway, while I was getting ready for work, the Elvaan had a plan…

The Dunes and beyond.

I couldn’t help but post that picture. I love that firework, but I wish the Moogle would be nice to me and give me a shiny new belt. Alas, it is not to be and he/she keeps blessing me with Angelwings. I think Rin does look rather fetching, however…

Well, BRD and NIN are 14 and 15, its awesome fun. We got into a party with some LS members (UpToNoGood - now that suits us!) and we actually got going. EXP was slow for me at least because we had a huge level gap but I was enjoying seeing what effects the songs had. So far it seems a safe bet to put Mambo (EVA+) for Rin if he’s tanking as Ninja, and Paeon if the WHM is struggling. Minne if we have a link, and Minuet if we are hitting on T’s. I’m getting there I think, people complimented me. Thats always nice.

I’ve gotta give Rinion his due though - well done with timings and stuff. Thats the part of Ninja that scares me, so watching Rin do it gave me a little more confidence. Well done! We’ll be aiming for 17 later, though hopefully we’ll get higher. Its not too bad, especially with the EXP Bands!

Last on my list is Gassan but thats easy to get, which I won’t need till 15 anyway!
